Buses run regularly from Rome Tiburtina rail and bus station to Sulmona. The bus company is called Paolibus. Tickets can be bought on-board and the journey from Rome to Sulmona currently costs around €13  From Tiburtina bus station the bus leaves from terminal 'C' The timetable for buses travelling in both directions can be checked here. There are now direct services from Ciampino and Fiumicino airports to Sulmona with Prontobus. The website is only in Italian so if needs be we can book your tickets on your behalf.

To travel from Pescara central station to Sulmona by bus simply look for the SATAM teminal - buses run all day once every four hours or so. Remember that there is a shuttle bus service from Pescara airport to Pescara Central Station which runs every 30 minutes - the bus number to look for is 38.

Oonce at Sulmona there are six buses a day that come through to Torre dei Nolfi. Tickets costs €1 and can bought at any tabaccheria. From Sulmona we can of course also organise car-hire for you - we'll take a look at car-hire options on the next page...
